Collection: The Space Between
Before the world began, Atum woke alone in the quiet, endless water. With a single breath, he spawned Shu and Tefnut, a rushing wind and a soft mist that made way for the earth and the sky. Geb, the warm earth, and Nut, the vast night sky, immediately fell into an embrace.
The Space Between imagines that beautifully chaotic moment: where Geb and Nut, the roots and the heavens, existed in an entangled, upside-down harmony, and gravity simply surrendered. Nut's dark, star-stitched body wove through Geb's branches. Sweeping palm trees reached up to bury their roots in the cosmos and scattered leaves posed as radiant suns. Stars, blossoms, and raindrops swirled, torn to find a home between earth and sky.
It was an all-consuming love, leaving absolutely no room for the world to grow. To make space for life, the wind had to step between them, lifting the sky up and away from the earth. Now they are forever parted, leaving Geb to watch his love stretch high above him, separated only by a quiet breeze and the thin thread of the horizon.
